America's Next Top Baby Model

My first month shots were a little rough, I was hungry and there was just no chemistry between the photographer and I.

Nonetheless I did my best to still look adorable and 'work it'.

This one is my personal favorite.

By two months though, as you can see, I really have this modeling thing down.

The wardrobe for this shoot is courtesy of Aunt Dar, Uncle Pat, Erin and Molly.

I really like this Anne Geddes interpretation (I asked about one of those bee getups, but they said it was at the cleaners).

My Playbaby centerfold shot

Mom and dad 'awed' at these last two, so I'm guessing these are high on their list of faves.

How I Keep My Girlish Figure

I start my workout by swatting at some of the rattles in my gym.

It's always hard to decide between the butterfly and the sunflower.

Next I practice rolling over.

Won't be long now before I am successful in my quest.

Naturally I take a break to suck on my fingers.

After that it is some 'tummy time'...

also known as 'baby cobra' in yoga circles.

For my cool down, it's 15 minutes in the swing.

I really work up a sweat after all of that (or I spit up, or have a diaper blowout), so one of my personal trainers (AKA...mom and dad) puts me in some new threads.

Meeting Aunt Beth (Week of August 6th)

Aunt Beth stopped by to chill for a few days on her way to San Diego.

Aunt Beth is into fashion, so I thought I would impress her with my gangsta' flower look.

Mom, dad, and I also wanted to wow her with our own boardwalk.

We checked out some stingrays.

Mom was a wuss when it came to feeding them.

Aunt Beth was not.

We walked up and down the Kemah Boarwalk and milled through the crowd.

We also did the Starbucks thing.

Mom, as you can see, had decaf.

Another Fieldtrip to Houston

Our first stop was to meet Essie Mae. She took care of my dad when he was little.

She must do a good job because her daughter Valmarie never stopped smiling.

I wondered if maybe she would be taking care of me, after all, my dad turned out pretty good too.

I think she said she's all booked up though.

Ashley and Tia Gloria didn't get me the 'wear green' memo.

I found it in my heart of hearts to let them hold me anyway.

Next we went to visit Nedra. She's really lucky cuz' she has TWO moms.

I lucked out too because she lent out Jen for the afternoon.

My First Museum Trip

Mom and I cruised around a bit before we went in.

I really wanted to stay focused and not miss anything.

While also remaining adorably cute, naturally.

The first thing we saw were some rocks.

I mean REALLY BIG ROCKS.

Next was this really cool blue screen. Mom, can we get one of these at home?

Your getting sleeeeepy, very sleeeeeepy....

That last display was really hypnotizing.

I didn't get the Don Quijote display, I thought this was the Museum of Natural Science.

I think they should replace it with more big red orbs.

Whew!! What a big day!!

There's nothing like a moment of baby zen by the waterfall outside before driving back home.

Movin' On Up

When I first got home, I was all snug in a little basket in my parents' room. But eventually I got a little too snug. I guess this means I can sleep with mom and dad now.

What do you mean I can't stay here?

I will have you know I am not happy about this!!

Hmm... I guess the jungle animal motif is kind of cool. It definitely has potential.
