Aunt Linda and Aunt Marcy Visit and Kidnap Mom

I am all dolled up and ready for Aunt Marcy and Aunt Linda's visit.

It's my nap time, but I just have to stay awake and hear all about where they are taking me.

What do you mean you are taking mom out for lunch without me?

Okay, since you are doing 'super baby' tricks, I guess I can let you take mom for a little while.

They did bring mom back though, and even hung out for awhile to admire my rolling over and tummy time prowess.

A Trip to Grandma Arriaga's House

We went to Grandma Arriaga's house to visit and also so dad could help with some tech support.

He let me be part of the action.

I really paid attention.

I loved the chance to show off my mad rolling over skills.

And all my new hair!!

Here I go again!!

Tadaaah!!!!!

Boy, all this rolling over is hard work.

Thankfully, all my hard work didn't go unnoticed

Check Out Jahara's 'Crib'

Oh yeah!!! We are on our way home after another fun-filled day at Ms. Kim's. I'm so glad you decided to ride with us and check out my crib.

Of course, it only seems logical to start the tour with a shot of the actual crib. I love talking to the animals when I wake up in the morning. They have yet to answer back.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only baby in Galveston County with her own computer. It is great for watching my fish as I wind down for bed at night. My dad rules!!

As you can see, I also have a breathtaking view from the changing table...a parrot, Guatemalan tapestry, and of course, Friday Kahlo (I think she's a famous cousin or something cuz' mom and dad sure have a lot of her paintings around the house).

This is the view from the other side of the room. It is really rather spacious.

Don't be fooled though as slammin' and spacious as my crib is, I still seize every opportunity to crash with mom and dad for a nap.

Jahara: International Baby of Fashion

With drool being all the rage, I have recently added bibs to my wardrobe.

Check out this edgy little shirt Jenny brought back from Amsterdam

Let me stretch out so you get the full effect.

My brother Sebastian sent this little number all the way from Denmark. I really wanted to show it off by crawling down the catwalk.

I need to practice a little more...stay tuned for future posts.

The other day dad had some very high fashion ideas for my burp rag (don't worry...it was clean)

Just you wait and see, I know this is about to become a hit with babies across the country.

I love this little preppy number mom's friend Tracy got me. Tracy recently moved to Qatar.

I wonder if that is further away than Michigan.

I bet they don't have duck rattles there.

More Adventures in the Life of Jahara

I get an extra large amount of beauty sleep so that I am well rested for Grandpa Alvarez's 80th birthday.

There's the man of the hour.

I was still a big hit though, as you can tell, Aunt Gloria and Aunt Elsa fought over who got to hold me.

They worked it out eventually and took turns taking me around to visit with everyone.

Being the life of the party wore me out!!

I have to admit it was a small price to pay to have cake as a midnight snack.

The next weekend we drove into town to go to the Latino family book festival and visit with Oscar.

For not being much of a baby person, he still really listens to what I have to say.

He doesn't quiet appreciate my feet as much as I do though.
