Jahara Checking Out What's in the Drawers

I can open drawers now but I have to be quick before mom catches me!!

Thanksgiving Feast at Cradles 2 Crayons

I was able to smile my way to getting a piece of bread before we even started to really dig in.

Bring on the turkey! Last year the only meal I had was cereal.

After we finished eating I decided to add a few finishing touches to the room.

Mom got to sneak out of work to attend, which was the best part of all.

Swinging

Playing in the Park

I got to meet some new friends, being the social butterfly that I am.

Roadtrip!!!

Peek-a-boo! I see you!

Now it's off to the swings!!

Ozomatli Live!

The Ozomatli Show

Here we are waiting for the big show to get underway.

Let me see if they need any help setting up.

My plan to offer assistance was thwarted though by Tish and Iris.

I forgave them though since they kept me entertained while we waited for the entertainment.

Finally! Showtime!

Jahara Making a Masterpiece at Dia de la Comunidad

I have to be honest, when I first sat down I wasn't sure how this whole water colors thing worked.

Luckily Tish and Iris helped me get started.

Okay, I got it, it's kind of like Mexico, don't drink the water.

Now I'm on a roll!

Check out my masterpiece! I even sort of stayed in the lines.

Time for Another Bathtime Video

Cruisin' the Video Store

Sharing My Toys with Iris

Election Night

It's 7 o'clock and returns are about to come in.

Oh please, oh please, oh please, I can't handle 4 more years of Bush (from what mom says the last 8 have been pretty rough). Luckily, Rob let me sit on his lap as I waited in anticipation.

Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

I'm so excited I could just LEAP over this couch!

Let me call Grandma and Grandpa and the family in PA to congratulate them on a job well done!! I will console Uncle Matt and Grandpa Clarke later...right now it's time to CELEBRATE!

I think I'll start letting my hair down by digging in to some tortilla chips.

The best part was that I wasn't the only kid there.

Even though she is in the double digits age-wise, don't let that fool you.

She was TOTALLY into sharing my toys.

Jahara's Second Halloween

Chop! Chop! Times a' wastin'!

Nedra is ready to get her candy on too!

Let's munch on some yogurt bites to get out fairy energy up.

Okay, who are we missing.

We were the first kids in the Heights, so we decided to fuel up at Water Burger first.

Hey, I think I need a fry refill.

Last year I was out for the count by 7:30, this year I am a lean, mean, candy-getting machine.

My little legs did get tired at times though, so thank goodness Jen stepped up to help carry me.

Ms. Mary, Katie's mom, pitched in too.

Trick or treat! I actually can't get all those words out yet, but in my adventures I found that I was such a cute little fairy all I had to do was smile and reach.

Oh, and the people with these decorations had the best candy in case you were wondering.

Jahara Takes Blocks Very Seriously

Fun with Halloween Balloons

Menil Park

Alright I am out of my stroller!

Ooh, it looks like I found an interesting specimen on the ground.

What do you think?

I think it's time for a 'catch me if you can' chasing game!

I must admit you move pretty quick for someone with a diaper bag and camera.

Hold on a minute, what is that over there?

Hmm... karate dude is warming up to attack.

Rats, I think I've been spotted! Quick, hide behind the metal sculpture thingy!

I think we lost him.

And it looks like it is starting to get dark so I guess we best hit the road (or sidewalk rather).

Care Packages from Afar

Mom I am playing in the bathroom, get out! oh wait...I have a package?!?

So many fabulous purses! I can't decide which one to shove my new friend into.

I LOVE my scarecrow magnet masterpiece!

I also love my Dora Halloween fashion thanks Aunt Nora and Uncle Dale!

Look it even lights up when I move.

Now if you will excuse me I have to get back to work.

Okay, another fashion intermission...I love my sorting hat. Hogwarts here I come!

Let me get mom's yoga ball out of the way, it's ruining my runway walk.

All this running around is making my new toofers hurt a little bit.

Hey, this new teething ring not only 'takes the edge off' as Grandpa Clarke would say, it also vibrates.
