Wake Up to Another Halloween Package from Afar

On the Mend from the Flus

I was down and out for a few days with two types of flu, but now I have bounced back and am ready for the park.

I don't want to push myself too much though, so Roland gave me a lift to Hermann Park.

Little Ms. Independent insists on always climbing the stairs for herself.

I'm off and running.

Whee!

Roland and I decide whether or not I should take the risk and reach for higher heights.

Actually, now that I'm up here, I've changed my mind. Thank goodness there are grown ups on stand by.

Halloween Headband Photo Op in Mom's Room

Don't be fooled by the pajamas, I am loaded with energy.

Playing footsie with mom.

I love the bat headband. What do you think?

CHEESE!

I'm ready for my close-up.

Don't forget the side angle either.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa, I think this look really brings out my eyes.

Fun at Meyerland Mall

Vroom, vroom!

Hitting the highway, watch out!

I could even drop mommy off for work while I'm cruisin'.

The horn even works, cool!

Now it was off to the merry-go-round.

My first ride on a bunny on a two-story indoor contraption.

Hello down below.

I have a need for speed.

Mom is getting a little dizzy, but nothing can slow me down.

Now we're really flying.

Grandma and Gaga Package in Pictures

Look mommy! We may still be putting the finishing touches on our new house but that didn't stop Grandma and Gaga from sending a package.

Time to dig in to the newspaper to find the ghoulish treasures.

Now it's starting to get good.

I can't wait to expand my palate with this Halloween coloring book.

I'm actually going to be Dora guys, but I might think about being a witch next year.

Love you too Gaga and Grandma!

Let's make sure I haven't missed anything.

Oh the Halloween possibilities!

Trip to the Downtown Aquarium

While we wait for our table I seize the opportunity to bond with the aquatic life on hand.

Stingrays and eels were my favorite.

I think I was their favorite too.

The crossword puzzle is a little advanced for my two-year old mind.

What color should I paint this octopus?

Mom and I weigh our options along with deciding what seafood to sample over a yummy raisin snack.

With my belly full of chicken fingers and french fries, it was off to the surrounding park we went.

Mom was a little nervous at first, but Roland had my back as I jumped into the sprinkler park solo.

No swimsuit, no problem!

I'm off!

Come on mom, try to keep up!

Mom didn't jump in with both feet, but was on the sidelines cheering me the whole time.

More splishing and splashing.

These big kids got nothing on me.

Stand back, I'm going in yet again.

I think this might even be more of a blast than Stude Park.

Posing for the camera.

Whoa! Now they really cranked up the water for this shot.

Oh good, time for an intermission.

Keeping up with the boys was a piece of cake too.

Yeah!

There I go strutting my stuff again.

I still was a thoughtful good samaritan though through the course of the afternoon. Here is a pic of me showing a newer walker the ropes.

Party time!

Excellent!

We have to come back again for sure, but this time with a stylin' swimsuit too.
