The Big Day

Mom and I arrive at St. John's. Hopefully I get to stay in the church for the whole ceremony this time.

Aunt Bridget and Grandpa sit next to us as we all wait for things to get underway.

There I am as the bride, Erin, comes down the aisle.

Alas I had to watch most of the ceremony from the 'baby chat' room (a.k.a...the crying room).

Afterwards, I got to meet Uncle Pat outside the church.

We bonded.

Uncle Dale was a little jealous judging from the look on his face in this picture.

I had a much better view at the reception. I was able to catch all the action.

Don't they make a cute couple.

I also got to meet more of the family like Amanda.

We had a lot to talk about like comparing reviews of the recent book she sent 'The Giving Tree'.

She also gave me some sound insurance advice. I hung on her every word.

Even Uncle Dan held me for a little while.

With a full belly it was time to strike out into the great outdoors.

I just had to touch the extra green Pennsylvania grass. I couldn't resist the urge to run in it either.

On your mark, get set...

GOOOOO!!!!

Whoa!

I know they say everything in Texas is bigger, but I think Mr. Oak here would beg to differ.

The reception was a blast, but now Aunt Bridget has to rest up for the after party.

Visiting Great Grandma at St. Mary's

Great Grandma was really sweet, but I was over sitting still for a picture at this point of the day.

Mom, I will NOT be contained for a photo op!

Finally, I got sprung from the photo opportunity so Grandma and Great Grandma could take some pictures.

Mom stepped in to a few of the photos too.

I went ahead and jumped in as well, although I guess Great Grandma didn't get the memo about wearing green.

We finally stepped outside for some fresh air. Uncle Matt showed up too all the way from D.C.

I loved relaxing with him and Grandpa.

Uncle Matt's lap is very cozy.

All the talking points from Rush Limbaugh though are making me uncomfortable.

Uncle Matt doesn't look thrilled when I tell him that dad are more the Keith Obermann type.

Sorry Uncle Matt and Grandpa, I will not vote Republican! I don't care how much you rock me on the swing.

It looks like their having more fun with Great Grandma over there.

Especially Aunt Bridget and Grandma.

Great Grandma, Aunt Nora, and Grandma chit-chat about the weather.

And since it was such a gorgeous day I thought mom and I would go for a walk.

The Best Part of the Short Road

The Short Road to Jim and Sue's

Jim and Sue's is a pizza joint that mom always likes to go to when she comes home. I am not sure I can do the car again though.

Aunt Bridget seems really excited so I guess I need to have an open mind. And hey, Snoopy is allowed to go too.

That is not Sue, it's Aunt Joanie.

Uncle Dan is sitting next to her. I was unable to woo him into holding me but at least he was good conversation.

Would you like the last french fry?

It's for me? Well I guess I can force myself to take a nibble.

We're HEEERE!

Aunt Nora hooked me up with a bunch of toys as soon as we walked through the door.
This little number plays music when you push it.

Aunt Nora took a turn also.

Here Grandpa you give it a whirl.

This caterpillar is a lot of fun too.

On second thought, I think I want to play with it instead.

Aunt Nora and I bonded instantly.

She's a big kid at heart.

Grandpa, which toy do you think I should play with next?

On second thought let's take a breather.

Breather over.

Uncle Dale, as you can see,was overjoyed with my arrival as well.

He didn't hesitate to jump right in and help me hold some toys.

Yee-ha! Check out this cowgirl.

Nothing like a little reminder of home.

Speaking of home, I better call dad to let him know we made it in one piece.

The Long Road to Erie

Yeah! Road trip!

I can't wait to arrive in Erie to meet the rest of the family sporting mom's stylin' shades.

Scratch the shades, I'm just as adorable without them.

Boy, it sure is a far way to go. How many more hours to we have?

This car seat gets a wee bit uncomfortable about 3 hours in.

Okay, we passed Cleveland, I know we are getting close. Time to freshen up and put on a new pair of sunglasses.

Oh nevermind, just wake me when we get there.
