Jahara's Second Haircut and Eating Out

I finally got to meet Maria, who has been doing mom's hair for years. She introduced me to some friends around the shop.

Like the king of rock himself, Elvis.

I don't know who their decorator is, but mom we really need to look into adding this to our humble abode.

He would go great with my new big girl bed and chest of drawers, just have to move a few things around is all.

Enough chit, chat though, let's get down to business.

Shrek kept me company while Maria went to work.

When we were finished she let me pick out the color of ponytail holder and catch up on my trashy tabloid magazine reading.

Mom all this primping has really worked up my appetite.

So the next stop was Subway to grab some grub and wash it down with fruit punch.

Helping Mom Put Together New Dining Room Chairs

Wow, this is a lot of work. Thank God I am here to lend a hand.

Hey mom, put down that camera and hand me the flat head.

St. Paddy's Day at the New Children's Museum

The day started out with me all dolled up in my Irish gear for lunch at O'Chapultapec with John. Mexican food is a little messy though, so I had to do a wardrobe change before hitting the new Tot Spot with mom.

Oh look, someone has been cooking plastic balls. My favorite!

I especially enjoy rolling them through this handy little people tunnel
.

Next it was on to the ball popper. Cool!

Afterwards, even though 16 is a ways away for me, I got to drive a classic car.

Thankfully this older Irish lass was on hand to help me change gears.

Look mom, I cooked up this plastic ball especially for you.

Bright lights, big city. Mom and some other mom were talking about how this was like a giant Lite Brite. I have no idea what that is, but I do know that this was fun.

Oh, there is just so much to see and do here.

Knock, knock, who's there.

Oh, it's me!!!!!!

What do you mean it is almost closing time? There better be some green soy milk in this for me.

With a few short moments left, I had no choice but to brave the slide.

Check it out! Backwards!
