While hanging out at the neighborhood park I met a new friend who spoke a funny form of Spanish, mom later explained it was Russian.

Since the Cold War ended way before either of us were on the planet, there was no awkwardness.

We even coordinated how to work the camera.

And expanded our play group. There were more than enough wood chips to go around.
