Mom's Birthday Weekend (July 14th)

Tia Tonia came by and had lunch with us.

She gave me my lunch too. I personally prefer milk on tap, but the bottle ain't so bad.

Grandma Arriaga stayed the entire weekend.

She loves me so much, she smiles when I spit up on her.

Grandma and dad baked mom a cake.

Mom sure had a lot of candles.

Lotsa Company

Oscar and Kim drove out to meet me.

Kim was really into me.

I think the jury was still out for Oscar.

Jenny came over and really helped out a lot. She's a pro because of...

Katie,

Allie and Nick

Aunt Marcie and Aunt Linda came to visit again. No Jimmy Buffett though, I guess I have to be bigger than a parrot to be a parrot head.

They brought Debbie with them though, which made up for it.

Dad's brother, Uncle Carlos came by too.

I was a big hit with him and Aunt Maria (but I imagine all of you are getting sick of the green couch).

The Trip to the Rio Grande Valley (A.K.A. 'Almost Mexico)

I get to just chill while mom and dad load the truck.

Mom and I relax with some 'tummy time' before the long trip.

The room we stay in when we get there has great mood lighting for mid-day naps.

The Valley is super hot, so I just had to work this cute little sun dress.

It was fourth of July weekend too, so Tia Gloria made sure I was dressed for the occasion.

Casey was very into me.

She shares Tia Irma with me.

Well, kind of

She shared Tio Lalo too.

He's a big teddy bear.

Time for a mid-afternoon snack and a little snuggle time with mom before we drive back to McAllen.

I'm pretty sure I have Grandpa Alvarez wrapped around my finger after this trip.

I also got to meet Abuela Clemens. Her Frida Kahlo dress is mesmerizing.

REALLY MESMERIZING!!

Jahara's First Overnight (June 23rd)

It was Walter's birthday, but he didn't mind sharing the limelight with me.

Sharing me on the other hand, wasn't so easy.

The baby pass is almost complete.

I am, after all, precious cargo.

Jahara and Daddy...The Early Days

Plant one right on my cheek dad.

Hey, how did I end up with more hair than you?

Hmmm...I do see a family resemblance.

Daddy's leg vibrations leaves any bouncy chair in the dust.

Welcome Home!!

The hospital let us keep the flowers and balloons. SWEET!

Yeah!! Grandma and Grandpa Clarke are still here!!

Grandpa rocks!!!

Tia Gloria met us at my new home. It looks like pink is the new black, sorry grownups, you must not have gotten the memo.

All these visitors tire me out.

I better rest up before the next shift arrives.

Aunt Elsa sure looks happy to see me.

Uncle Uli and I match. We didn't even plan it.

Grandpa Alvarez came from the Valley just to meet me. He sure wears snazzy shirts too.

Boy, I am beat!!!
