Special Pics with Sebastian and Jahara

I told Sebastian not to be nervous, but we were both naturals in front of the camera.

This is our pensive, serious look.

Hey dad! I think I can touch the ceiling from up here.

Sebastian even let me jump on his back for a few pics.

I know this is a sweet shot too.

I wish Sebastian was here for pictures every month. I don't mind sharing the spotlight at all.

Trying to Wake Up Sebastian

Jahara's First Train Ride

A Trip to Galveston

Watch out fellow beach goers...we have ARRIVED!

Sebastian and I are ready for sun and fun.

After mom lathers me up with sunscreen naturally.

As you can see, it wasn't Kappa weekend like the last beach excursion, so there was plenty of room for beach bumming.

Just as I was about to sit and relax, however, my world was shattered momentarily by this Dora the Explorer hat.

How do you get this thing off?!?

MOOOM!

I understand you want to keep me safe in the sun, but really it clashes with my blue surfer girl ensemble.

YIPPEE!

Mom, let's dive in and go for it!

Wait a minute, on second thought we better not.

It's probably better for us to hang out on the sea shore.

I wonder what sand tastes like?

I guess I will have to wait and taste test it some other time when mom isn't on her game so much.

Dad hung out a bit too.

Alas, he isn't a beach person.

I mean REALLY not a beach person.

What's going on over there mom?

Fun at Kemah

Dad and Sebastian wanted to ride some of the big kid rides.

Since I am nowhere near the 48 inch height requirement, it was off to the sprinkler park for mom and I.

It was an itsy, bitsy, teeny, weeny, blue polka-dot bikini...

That she wore for the first time today.

Whoa! Dad and Sebastian better be careful.

I think mom and I will stick to the tamer rides, thank you very much.

Boy, these two sure are daredevils.

Nothing phases them.

I still think next time they should try out the sprinklers instead.

Random Familia Photos

Here are all the guys.

And then here they are again with lil' old me...looking like one of the guys.

During intermission, Sebastian and I check his email and catch up on soccer.

I love McAllen! I wish we could come every weekend.

Here I am again in front of Abuelo's house with mom and dad.

The Trip South of the Border

Dad and Sebastian try to figure out whether he should be Danish or a U.S. citizen for the day.

We had a great lunch and sat in the section of the guy with the cool last name.

Dig in everybody!

Lunch really packed on the pounds, so after eating I was naturally off and running.

When we got home, I couldn't wait to tell Abuelo and Abuela about all the fun we had.

The best part, I told Abuelo, was my little Mexican soccer uniform.

I am not sure who number ten is though on the team.

Abuela admired my new wardrobe while she filled me in on all the latest goings on of her favorite telenovelas.

I tried to get her to play soccer with me, but she didn't have the right shoes for the occasion.

As a fellow soccer aficionado, my new duds were the biggest hit with Sebastian.

Next time, we will have to look for some from Denmark too.

Visiting Tia Irma and Tio Lalo

They have lots of grandkids so it was a blast from the start. After all, the only thing better than your toys are someone else's.

Dad and Sebastian I guess could say the same thing about the fried chicken Aunt Irma had ready.

They also have real cows which we got to visit. Of course, given the water situation, I had to be carried.

I proposed them letting me ride the dog.

Judging from Sebastian's wrinkled nose though, I guess maybe that isn't the best idea.
